Mo' Groups

Over the past several weeks, we've had fun communicating about the launch of Mo' Groups!  One week we shared in a comedic sketch about all the excuses people use for not joining a Mo' Group.

The reason we did that was to help people see how funny some of those excuses really are once we see them verbalized.

As I mentioned recently at one of our Sunday morning gatherings, we are asking you to take a relational risk and try out a Mo' Group for the next six weeks.

Why do we think this is so important?  Because people are really supposed to "be" the church, not just "go to church."  Like we've been discussing, it's pretty tough to actually practice being the church to each other during a Sunday morning gathering.

There are about 47 scriptures directed at us as followers of Jesus that tell us to "________ one another" or "__________ each other."  They say things like, "encourage one another."  "Bear each others' burdens."  "Confess your sins to each other."

How many of those can we actually do during a Sunday morning gathering?  Four--maybe?

Listen, Mo' Groups are a great place to meet people, make friends and do life with others!  They're safe and they're fun.
