What's Important in Life? (pt. 2)

Too often it takes a drastic event to jar us out of our daily grind.
We're at one of those points where people close to us are dying.
One of those is my grandmother--awesome woman. She's lived a 89 years and although not perfect, she's tried to honor God with her life.
At the same time, the father of a family close to my ten year old son just passed away this week. They're a great family. Tough stuff.
I've been reminded this week of how much things change in a moment when we're forced to engage a time of crisis.
Plans are out the window; although, a day before you spent so much time working out the logistics.
Desires change in an instant. That thing you were really wanting to do--it doesn't seem to matter at all now.
Even potential consequences don't matter. You don't care how much it's going to cost, or if you've got enough time off for everything this year.
All of a sudden, what's important in life is clear. Crystal clear.
We're diving into a new message series and engaging this idea of "What's really important in life?" It's called 30 Days to Live and it begins April 6th. We'd love to have you join us.
